Music Ministry

The Music Ministry of St. Mary glorifies God through the gift of music, primarily at Sunday Mass. Sung and instrumental music encourage the assembly to express and share their gift of faith and to deepen the community’s spiritual relationship with God. We take great pride in the number of gifted singers and musicians who contribute their time and talent to enhance our parish's liturgies with a broad repertoire of sacred music. It is our goal to support the entire congregation, allowing full, conscious, and active participation in the sacred liturgy of the Mass.

Adult 10:00 am Mass Choir

The 10:00 choir rehearses weekly on Thursday evenings in the church from 7:30-9:00 p.m. and sings at 10:00 a.m. Mass on Sundays, as well as Christmas, Holy Week, Easter, and special occasions. The 10:00 is an SATB choir which has a long tradition of singing high-quality church music, and new members are always welcome. This choir is open to those of high school age and above.  No audition is required, although people with previous choral experience are especially encouraged to join us.

Handbell Choir

The Handbell Choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room in the Church. They play approximately once each month at weekend Masses and also for special occasions. Although the ability to read music is helpful, it is not a necessity. The Handbell Choir resumed last year after several years of being on hiatus, and although it had a great start, it is still in need of more ringers. The choir is open to those of high school age and above. Please consider joining us!
