Church of St. Mary Parish Picnic

Thank you for a great kickoff!!

Dear Church of St. Mary Parish Family,

It is with hearts of gratitude that we send this letter. The CoSM 150th Anniversary Celebration Committee give many thanks to the 500+ parishioners that attended the Kick Off Picnic at Townline Park on September 14th. We were certainly blessed with a beautiful day to gather together!

The Celebration/Events Committee, lead by Natalie Reinkemeyer and Jean Sullivan, with their vision and hard work created a perfect picnic day. The picnic fare was delicious and abundant which included hotdogs, barbecue chicken and pork served with multiple side dishes, yummy ice cream and assortment of cold beverages. The addition of a variety of lawn games with prizes and Bob the DJ made for a perfect celebration! We were happy to have Bishop O’Malley, along with our clergy, Father Andre and Deacon Jack enjoying the day with the parish family.

Most importantly was the parish fellowship that was so apparent throughout the day. It was a joy to see people from infants to seniors, old friends and new acquaintances, who enjoyed lively conversation and laughter together.

This Kick Off event far exceeded the committee’s expectations. We are excited to reveal the many activities and events that are planned during the course of our celebratory year. Please check on the Church of St. Mary website, under the 150 Years of Grace tab for more information.
