      The School of St. Mary welcomes the community to its annual Gala, “Bridge of Love,” on Saturday, February 6th, at an exciting new venue, The Chicago Botanic Garden. The theme “Bridge of Love” brings school, family, and community together. It captures the core of the St. Mary's experience where faith development, academic achievement, leadership, civic responsibility, family, friends, and a strong sense of community are the roots of a most fulfilling and enduring education.
      Friends and family can join together with neighbors across the community to enjoy an evening in this beautiful, unique setting with the remarkable Georgia Frances Orchestra and enough good food and fun to make you feel like dancing! The semi-formal event kicks off with drinks and appetizers and follows into gourmet food stations. The Gala will feature Casino Games along with live and silent auctions you won't want to miss.
      The Gala is the school’s primary fundraising event and draws more than 400 guests each year. Although only school parents receive printed invitations, the event is open to the community and all are welcome and encouraged to attend. Proceeds from the Gala go to the school’s operating budget, assist in maintaining reasonable tuition, help to ensure the availability of scholarships, maintain the school’s technology fund and provide additional educational opportunities that would otherwise be unavailable.
