Catholic Scripture Study
The aim of our Bible Study is to deepen our knowledge and strengthen our commitment by becoming better acquainted with the foundational books of our faith.
Members have found that their relationship with Christ deepens and they also come to a deeper understanding of their faith in a setting that builds Catholic-Christian fellowship. Bible Study offers two programs on Thursdays; mornings or evenings.
Morning Program -The Book of Genesis
Beginning in September, St. Mary's will offer the Catholic Scripture Study (CSS) of Genesis. Genesis will be offered from September to May on Thursday mornings. Genesis sets the stage for God's plan for redemption and plants the seeds of important doctrines and Christian teachings that unfold in the rest of the Bible. Come learn how it all started and how you personally fit in God's plan. Registration forms are available in the rectory office. Evening Program-Study of Ephesians
Pope Benedict XVI has proclaimed a year of St. Paul in preparation for the 2000th anniversary of the apostle's birth. To celebrate this special event, we are offering a short study of St. Paul's Letter's to the Ephesians, which focuses on unity within the Body of Christ and the mission of the Church. The class will meet every Thursday evening from September 11 to November 20 from 7-9pm in the Parish Center.
